In the classification of injection manipulators, the three-axis and five-axis servo manipulator fingers we often say are the number of servo motors. The 3-axis means that this manipulator has 3 servo motors, and 5 of them are 5 servo motors. In the actual injection molding automation application scenario, the five-axis servo manipulator we often say can have three ways:
1. Servo main arm + 1 servo material arm, dual-arm five-axis servo manipulator
This structure is the most commonly used five-axis servo manipulator structure on the market, mainly used in the cold runner three-platen injection molding automation system. The main arm of the two servo arms is used to take out the product, and it can also be used in the embedded insert system to embed the insert and take out the product; the jib serves as the water pick-up port.
2. Five-axis servo manipulator with dual main arms
The double main arm servo manipulator is mainly used in the stack mold injection automation system. Unlike the three-plate mold, the two cavities of the stack mold are products, so the two arms of the five-axis servo manipulator are required to be arms.
3. Single-arm five-axis servo manipulator
The application scenario of the single-arm five-axis servo manipulator lies in the occasions where the jig can be rotated at any point of view. Under normal circumstances, the arm of the servo manipulator often uses a lead angle cylinder, which can rotate 90 degrees after the completion of the pickup. But in the actual injection molding production process, we may encounter requirements that require the end of the arm jig to be able to complete the front and back, left and right 360 degrees of arbitrary rotation. In this case, we need to add a rated servo axis to the manipulator to meet the automation requirements of practical production.
